Capitola Art Press is my personal publishing imprint for titles I’ve either self-published or that I’ve packaged and co-published with another press or institution. It was first established in 2005 as the imprint for my handmade, fine art book The Highway of Temptation and Redemption: A Gothic Travelogue in Two Dimensions. It was also the imprint for the 2nd edition of Terra Incognita: Photographs of America’s Third Coast, which was originally published by Chronicle Books, San Francisco, in 2007. The 2nd edition was released in 2010 by Capitola Art Press in conjunction with the Ogden Museum of Southern Art and distributed by University Press of Mississippi. The latest title from the imprint, 74.M4.Latin America: a year, a camera, a road trip, was released in Spring 2023.
